Day 1 - Sun Moon Lake
: Monday, April 16, 2012
Will update w photos once it's all uploaded on Facebook.

The flight to Taiwan was not-that-good. All because i got a sudden bad headache and unwell feeling when it's about less than half an hour upon landing. Cold sweat plus the feeling of vomitting anytime. Pop in an 'Express' Panadol (my first time taking one, the non-doctor prescribed one!) and a random kind passenger came to massage for me till im feeling better. What an experience even before reaching Taiwan.

1st April.
Breads from 7-Eleven!

Arrived at Taoyung Airport and caught the earliest bus to Taichung train station before proceeding to another bus setting off to Sun Moon Lake. Spent almost 4 hours plus on transportation.. And the phobia of giddiness still stays in me, therefore poped some motion sickness pills..

Deposited our luggage at Honeymoon Hotel and went for our attractions. Took the ferry and first stop was (im sorry i really dont know what are the names of the places we went) a place where it's famous for the 茶叶蛋! I'm not a fan of that but it's really worth trying or rather buying! Cost only NTD 10 which is approximately S$0.43. Proceeded on to the second stop where we took the Cable Car and eating of street foods! The best food there i would recommend would be the Yam Cake! If im not wrong, it cost about NTD 40. Tried many different food such as mochi, drumstick w rice in it, milk teasssss, red tea, pink guava, etc. There's a lot more but i dont know the names :(

Cable Car

 阳春面
Spent the whole afternoon at the island sightseeing and went back to check in at our hotel! Washed up, settled down and head down for dinner. The weather was chilling...very. Walked down the streets but not much food stall was open for business, so we went to the one nearest to our hotel and settled our dinner there. 阳春面 was the best (Y). Cost only NTD 40.... S$1.75 for a bowl of awesome noodles! Sw and me decided to share a bowl so we packet it back to our hotel as supper. Went 7-Eleven to buy some instant noodles and tidbits to chill the night away!

Unforgettable Day 1:
- Our best friend in Taiwan goes to 7-Eleven. We went there every single day to get our food, usually breakfast. You have to be there in order to understand what i meant. :D
- We hate the long bus rides.....
- Cheap food =/= lousy food
- How should we fight w the chilling weather for the next 13 days!
