need some time to recall what i done during the trip . actually bought a diary book to write but lazy every night . ok shall start . i'll try my best to recall .
24nov ; first time take flight ! kinda scary when it take off and land off . took a few pictures on flight secretly . reached cambodia ... took a bus with our tour guide of cambodia and went to a school . seriously speaking , the students there are so damn hardworking . its like a heaven and hell comparing with singaporeans . the students there are so enthu . maybe its cos of their environment there as in the conditions they are living in . unlike us who dosent appreciate schooling at all :\ the ppl there are very very friendly . walk where also got ppl wave hello to you . even in the bus , ppl wave to you on the streets ! (: of course i waved back . (i became more social there) then went to homestay and had dinner . had briefing for the next day . bathed . the water there tastes weird . we even had a huge spider in the girls' toilet (the tour guide said its small omg) . and had to bathed with the spider . mr chiang said its our security guard o.- couldnt sleep well on the first day . kept waking up and i think only slept for a good 2 hours .
25nov ; woke up and had breakfast . depart for the school visited yesterday . my group is the first to teach the students . taught them abc and they are really enthu . they follow every instructions . there's a translator there to help us . for 3 hours we taught them . had lunch back in homestay and went back continue teaching for another 3 hours . trust me , its fun ! :D back for dinner and write reflections and STAR-GAZING ! i looked up the sky and saw so many stars . its really damn nice . you cant find it in singapore due to well bright lit lights . so i hurry go tell mc and he called the rest down to see as well . before star-gazing went to night market to shopped . slept better then yesterday .. 3 hours ? lols .
26nov ; HAPPY 27th anni BS7 ! :D sorry unable to sms you guys , but i smsed in advance haha . hope you guys wished each other as well .
today's activities was the same as ytd . only that we didnt teach but we build things ! build bookshelves , 'wall' and shelther for them . so fun . did painting as well . (for 27 nov) slept better . 4hours played cards Big 2.5 with the students and mc . i won quite a lot hehe . went night market shopped again .
27nov ; SUNRISE . woke up at 4am (cambodia time) . actually didnt wanna sleep just play cards till morning . but mc and mrs wee asked everyone to go sleep . so slept for a few hours like 3 . actually thought that it was a failed attempt . couldnt see the sunrise . but the sun took its own sweet time and finally came out . mc video-ed the process and it was really nice . couldnt forget that view . the sun really did slowly move up and could see it very clearly . back to homestay for breakfast and then to school . last day in school . did painting as mentioned . only done painting as the rest are done . had campfire during the night ! dance around the fire and it was so damn hot . cos the circle was very small when we surrounded the fire as there are a lot of people . had to protect the students as its kinda hot so i asked them stand behind me . we danced and sang all the songs we taught them . they had 2 cambodian songs for us too . and its nice . all of us claped to the song . back homestay . slept even better lols . 5 hours .
28nov ; went for tour of Angkor Wat Temples . (Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm) there are many statues of buddha as it is a Buddhism country . almost 95% are buddhists if im not wrong . quite boring actually as the weather is kinda hot . but every morning is so damn cooling . like 21 degree celcius . and the summer there could reached up to 45 degree celcius . luckily we went there during winter time but the weather is still quite hot . only a bit cooler than singapore . : after visitng many temples check in hotel . finally could have a goood bath ! after that went for dinner . and then to night market again . bought quite a lot of few things . back to hotel . the rest having party , me and xq didnt join . cos tired want to sleep . slept the best ! :D 6hours !
29nov ; woke up bathed and head for breakfast . visited orphanage , and the school again ! the students there gave our students alot of things . and i gave one the smart handsome boy there a keychain haha . had lunch and depart for singapore . reached airport at 10pm + . seriously i miss those time in cambodia ): if only we could extent the stay .

things to add on ; - i think the youngest motorists there is only age 14 ? not sure . - cambodians are really friendly . - i took my first motor ride on 27nov . (only me take the rest didnt for some reason haha) - had my first time fishing . but its using a bamboo stick :O
